Please remove the virtual machine and re-import it. When you do the import, please leave the default values in place. Please follow the install instructions here: http://hortonworks.com/wp-content/uploads/unversioned/pdfs/InstallingHortonworksSandbox1_3onWindowsusingVB.pdf

There should be no network adapter enabled for Adapter 2.

    Hi,

What IP does the sandbox pick up when you are running it?
You probably need to substitute 127.0.0.1 for that IP.

    Thanks

Hi Dave, I am having the same issue as well.

I am running on : Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise

    Virtual Box Version: 4.3.0 r89960

I tried the Sandbox Version 2.0 Beta and 1.3

    My Network configuration:

Adapter 1 : Host-only Adapter: VirtualBox Host-Only Ethernet Adapter, Promiscuous Mode: Deny, Cable Connected is: Y, Network Adapter is enabled
Adapter 2: NAT, Name : Network Adapter is enabled

With the 2.0 Beta Version, I got the home page. When I clicked the Tutorial Start link, I get a “Page Not Found” error.

    Could you please help?

    Thanks,

    Raghu

    Hi Suresh,

What OS are you running VirtualBox on?
Is it running with bridged networking or NAT?

    Thanks

    Dave
