run the following commands on oyur HMC node:

    yum -y erase hmc puppet
    yum -y install hmc
    service hmc start

This will clean all the HMC related statuses and you will be able to start installation from the beginning.

    all documentation is on http://docs.hortonworks.com/CURRENT/index.htm
