    Hi Guys,
I have a question that is really testing my efforts. I am using sandbox 2.0 HDP.
I have created a user s1 in a group g1. When I create a directory under HDFS with this user name, I see that the directory created has the correct username but a WRONG group name against it. The group name is usually HDFS or HUE. Am I missing something. ? . Looking for help.

    Hi KS,
Are you creating the directory using the hadoop fs commands via command line?
