    Hi,

in my HCatalog-0.4.1\bin directory are only three files:
    “hcat” – a bash script
    “hcat.py” – a python skript
    “hcatcfg.py” – another python script

How can I run HCatalog with Windows’ cmd directly?

    Best regards

    Hi,

You can run “hcat.py” under hadoop command line window, you will see the detail parameter and describe.
e.g: hcat.py -e “create table student(id int, name string, score int)”
    Hope this helps.
