Windows Server 2012 install fail – SRSetRestorePoint API failed

Seems to be a different error than what I am seeing for others.
Is there a way to exclude this as a parameter when running
    msiexec /lv c:\hdplog.txt /i “C:\Users\Administrator\Downloads\hdp-2.0.6.0.winpkg.msi”

I have validated the java_home and path variables many, many times.

    Hi Brian,

Can you confirm the Pre-requisites on your machine are the exact versions of what the documentation suggests?

    http://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/HDP2/HDP-2.0.6.0-Win/bk_installing_hdp_for_windows/content/win-getting-ready-2-3-2.html

If the versions are different, then you will need to uninstall, reboot and re-install the correct pre-req version.

    Thanks

    Dave
