Yarn Resource Manager RPC ports

    Is there a reason why the HDP default configuration is set to run the different YARN resource manager RPC servers on different ports than mainline apache Hadoop? The resourcemanager.address, resourcemanager.admin.address, and resourcemanager.resource-tracker.address default to 8032, 8033, and 8031 respectively in mainline apache hadoop but in the default config files and documentation for HDP they are set to 8050, 8141, and 8025. The port for resourcemanager.scheduler.address is the same running on port 8030.

    HI Colin, this is not answer to your question..were you able to get the cluster up and execute MR jobs. I am having issues running MR jobs, want to know if any of the people has success?
