Sixth Annual Apache Hadoop Community Event Being Held at the

San Jose Convention Center on June 26-27

PALO ALTO, Calif.—June 10, 2013—Hadoop Summit North America 2013, the premier Apache Hadoop community event, today announced that sponsorships have sold out, demonstrating record ecosystem support from leading producers of software and services for the enterprise. The full list of Platinum, Gold and Silver sponsors is available now, and features a combination of traditional and open source software and services companies which will make this the largest and most successful Hadoop Summit ever. The two-day event, hosted by Hortonworks and Yahoo!, will be held at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, Calif., on June 26-27, and is expected to draw more than 2,700 attendees. This excitement around the event is further proof that Hadoop has matured as a key component of the next generation data architecture. Hadoop Summit 2013 will feature more than 90 breakout sessions and seven different tracks focused on Apache Hadoop use cases and success stories, industry panels, lightning talks, best practices, cautionary tales and technology insights. The program features speakers from more than 50 organizations, including Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, eBay, LinkedIn, PayPal, Salesforce.com, Sears Holdings, Netflix and Twitter. Additionally, there is a full complement of community meet-ups including a pre-conference bike meet-up, Big Data Camps and other opportunities for the community to gather, interact and share insights and plans.
