Introducing the 2017 Data Heroes – APAC!

At the beginning of the year we announced the Hortonworks Data Heroes initiative. It’s our way of recognizing the Data Visionaries, Data Scientists, Data Architects, and Innovators transforming their businesses and organizations through Big Data.

Hortonworks has over 1,000 total customers spanning every industry, each with a unique Big Data journey. Our Data Heroes program lets us highlight a few individuals who are helping create radical change in their organizations.

The categories include:

  • Data Visionary – recognizes the potential of Big Data to transform their organization, and leads the business to turn that vision into reality.
  • Data Scientist – studies the data, tests and re-tests hypotheses, and creates modern data applications that deliver insights to the business and its customers.
  • Data Architect – seamlessly and creatively integrates Hortonworks Connected Data Platforms into their infrastructure.
  • Hortonworks Innovation – Our newest added award, highlighting business leaders implementing Hortonworks solutions leading to innovation in their industry.

We have our winners, announced at DataWorks Summit Sydney 2017, it is my honor to present to you:
