By: Amit Satoor, SAP

It has been one year since SAP Vora became generally available. Since the first release in March 2016, the product has added significant new functionality to become a distributed computing framework for big, unstructured data. The latest version of SAP Vora, provides a unified architecture for SQL queries, graph, time-series and document store. Latest release runs on Hortonworks Hadoop architecture supporting distribution HDP 2.4.2 and Ambari 2.2.1 cluster provisioning tool.
