Data, Data Everywhere!

Greetings all,

We have an exciting lineup planned for this event.

Lloyd Timcke of Hortonworks will start the evening with a keynote address on data and it’s growing impact, as well as sharing some stories on how companies around the world are using data.

Then Dries Cronje of Tracker will share how most companies now consider AI of strategic importance and essential to their survival. This is in stark contrast to the general perception of AI having been “a media hype” just a few short years ago. Companies are now in a mad scramble to get into the AI game before their competitors do.

The immediate problem faced at the get go is that there is no clear path that one can follow in the pursuit of AI success. Put differently, and at the root of the problem, we see that it is just as difficult to define what AI is, let alone boxing it and putting it on the shelf for purchase.

In order for AI to be successful, radical change will need to take place, including a change of mindset and a cultural change in perception. AI is as much about people as it is about technology.

He will share with us the challenges he faced and the insights he gained. Your journey will be different and like his becomes a confirmation that AI is possible.

We will finish the evening with one last speaker (TBD).

As always we will have food, drink and great conversation.

Looking forward to seeing you here!

Book early as we have a limited number of spots available.
