Drop by and see us – we have an opportunity for you to win a GoPro Camera! While you’re in our booth, talk to one of our technical solution architects to get your Big Data and Hadoop questions answered. We can quickly walk you through how Hadoop and HANA along with the other SAP Solutions can form a Modern Data Architecture. We’ll have recorded demo’s of HANA and Hadoop in action as well!
If you’d like something more formal, we can attend one or all of the speaking spots too!
Hadoop Delivers a Modern Data Architecture
This white board session will show how SAP solutions, including HANA, BusinessObjects, Lumira and InfiniteInsights work with Hadoop to create a Modern Data Architecture allowing enterprises to gain deep insight from new types of data (sensor, sentiment, server logs, and unstructured) to drive new innovations.
Using Hadoop and SAP Solutions to Solve Big Data Problems
Learn the capabilities and features of Hortonworks Data Platform (HDP) from Hortonworks – the Hadoop distribution being resold by SAP. We cover the integration of HDP with SAP HANA, SAP BusinessObjects BI, SAP Lumira, and SAP Infinite Insights. We show use cases that customers are implementing using Big Data to propel their businesses forward.
We’ve been invited by SAP to join them in their Open Source sessions. You can find us at:
The SAP Open Source Genius Bar in the Hacker Lounge
Drop by to learn how Hortonworks integrates with SAP solutions, how the Apache Open Source Foundation works, or how you can get involved in Open Source. We’ll be there during the open hours of the Genius Bar.
We’re also going to do a session on Open Source – think of it as an Open Source Primer.
Open Source, Apache Software Foundation, and Hortonworks
There are many kinds of open source organizations and open source licenses. This presentation will cover the various types of open source with a focus on the Apache Software Foundation (ASF). You’ll understand the process of how an idea goes from idea to incubation to project through community participation. You’ll learn how software is updated through contributors and committers. And finally you’ll how Hortonworks is stewarding Apache Hadoop.
Look for us in SAP TechEd && d-code Live Studio on the show floor. Join us and others from SUSE and RedHat to hear the discussion on Open Source innovations around SAP HANA.
