Hortonworks Addresses Growing and Open Ecosystem with Expansion of Partnerworks Program

SANTA CLARA and SAN JOSE, Calif. (Hadoop Summit) — June 28, 2016Hortonworks, Inc. ® (NASDAQ: HDP), a leading innovator of open and connected data platforms, today announced the expansion of its successful Partnerworks program to include new offerings for Managed Service Providers and ISV/IHV partners. Partnerworks is a comprehensive global program to support and enable partners selling, implementing and innovating with Hortonworks solutions. Through Partnerworks, partners can access, align with and gain support from Hortonworks’ open source technology experts and go-to-market capabilities.

New Programs Meet the Needs of Customers

Partnerworks is expanding with new offerings that include tailored benefits to support partner success in both selling and implementing Hortonworks solutions for customers.  These updates augment the existing Partnerworks programs and address the growing requirements of managing all data for customers:

  • New Managed Service Provider program provides a support focused partnering approach for companies offering managed services that include Hortonworks products. The program is built to enable Managed Service Providers to deliver support for their customers’ Connected Data Platform environments powered by Hortonworks solutions.
  • Modern Data Solutions is a new level in the ISV/IHV program that provides expanded joint go-to-market capabilities for certified applications enabling Connected Data Platforms.

Across all Partnerworks programs, partners can participate in advancing tiers from community involvement to platinum status. Each tier provides a defined path for enablement and certification. Comprehensive training, technical support, sales and marketing resources guide partners through certification and go-to-market commitments to support joint success over time. Partnerworks is committed to creating opportunities for all partners in the overall program.
